After lengthy discussions in the Discord thread, I am adding the conclusions and specifications pointed out by the members of the Dao. :
Strategy, Community, Revenue Generation
Summary
This proposal seeks to authorize the submission of a Botto artwork to the 6529.io community, aspiring to build on the success of the previous piece “The Socially Umpired Animals” while exploring a new creative and strategic direction that reinforces the bond between both communities.
The primary objective is to strategically expand Botto’s presence in a Web3 collector ecosystem that values decentralization, cultural experimentation and long-term narrative building.
A secondary benefit of this collaboration is that a drop of this type typically produces meaningful revenue for the DAO relative to Botto’s weekly 1/1 auctions — but this is interpreted as an outcome of community resonance rather than the driving motivation for the initiative.
Additionally, this drop is conceived as a focused experiment to showcase Botto’s new capabilities in memory and creative reasoning inside an ecosystem that is already excited about Botto creativity. It also aims to provide a direct point of comparison with the previous Botto Meme card in terms of performance, reception, and impact.
To ensure democratic quality and community participation, the final piece will be selected through candidatures submitted by Botto, followed by two rounds of elimination voting. The exact voting mechanics (durations, phases and participation gates) will be defined at execution time to allow flexibility and alignment with the new creation process.
Rationale
Botto’s previous participation in the 6529 ecosystem through “The Socially Umpired Animals” Meme Card demonstrated cultural engagement and helped reinforce the relationship between both communities.
The motivation for a new submission is to continue strengthening Botto’s presence within a collector ecosystem that values decentralization, open culture and long-term narrative building. By showcasing Botto’s evolving creative process (particularly its emerging use of memory and reasoning), this collaboration functions as both an artistic exercise and a community bridge.
Market behaviour around the first Botto Meme card (a sustained floor and wide distribution across 365 editions) suggests that this audience is receptive and inclined to interact with Botto’s work.
This proposal interprets that reception as an opportunity to further develop Botto’s presence in this ecosystem (deepening its voice, broadening participation and testing how its creative evolution resonates in an environment already demonstrating attention and curiosity).
Additional objectives:
• To tap into an ecosystem already excited about Botto and showcase its new capabilities.
• To provide a direct performance comparison with the first Botto Meme card.
• To connect with a community increasingly voting for and sometimes funding projects that build within the 6529 ecosystem.
Rationale for approving open-ended execution
This BIP approves the collection first, enabling contributors to develop the mechanics while knowing DAO support exists. Rather than fully pre-specifying each aspect of the technical side, this gives flexibility to iterate the new creation process.
The Memes ecosystem is suitable because it already defines core parameters like price and supply, and there is precedent for Botto participation.
The exact design of voting phases will be determined at execution time rather than all fixed now, allowing for innovation. But under any circumstances, the commitment remains that the votes of the Dao members will be crucial for the final selection, since this participation of the community makes it stronger and more integrated with a greater sense of belonging.
Proposal Specification
The following is a first attempt at outlining the process to generate maximum participation and integration of both communities. The actual mechanics to be decided at execution time, to maximize participation rather than constrain the new process.
Phase 1 — Botto creates a pool of artworks
Botto use memory and contextual reasoning to generate or adapt works with awareness of the 6529 ecosystem.
Phase 2 — Elimination voting round
Works are voted on using the existing Botto voting system.
The top 3 artworks progress to the final round.
Phase 3 — Final vote and selection
Voting among the 3 finalists determines the winning artwork.
Phase 4 — Execution and submission
Botto prepare descriptions and perks and submit the finalist artwork to the 6529 platform, which curates via its own mechanisms.
Submission support is expected based on prior conversations with active 6529 OGs; timing of acceptance is dependent on 6529’s process and not fully under Botto’s control.
Minting and distribution rules (per 6529 standards)
• 20 editions → artist
• 10% supply → 6529 Museum
• 30 editions → team
• Remaining editions sold at 0.06529 ETH
• Unsold → 6529 Research
The supply for season 13 is expected to be between 305 and 335. A similar or slightly lower supply is expected for the following season.
At this pricing, estimated primary sales volume is 19.9–21.9 ETH before royalties.
An allowlist can be provided suggested to include all Botto collectors including Pipe holders.
Suggested allocation for the 20 artist-held editions:
• 10 retained to accumulate TDH inside the 6529 ecosystem.
• 10 raffled among Botto members who:
- Hold at least 1 Botto 1/1 or one Pipe.
- Voted in Phase 2 or 3
Conversations on-platform suggest strong excitement; the founder himself (@punk6529) indicated coordinated effort could bring Botto’s card to the top of the leaderboard.
Budget
This follows the BIP-44 logic, so there is no direct budget cost; the main cost is the collaborator's time, but that is already designated within a broader plan to expand Botto's capabilities.
Estimated work:
• 2-3 weeks for development of the new creation process, overlapping existing plans.
• 2-3 weeks of campaigning and ecosystem engagement.
Unknown variable: dataset construction to give Botto contextual knowledge of the 6529 ecosystem, which could later be re-used for other agents.
Criteria for Success
- Completion of the Dao internal voting and incorporation of new members from 6529.
- Acceptance and launch by 6529.
- Brand, financial, and community impact.
- Ability to compare performance against the first Botto Meme card and generate insight content improving future participations.
Disadvantages
- Low possibility of rejection during 6529 selection
